Urgent Call to Action: Demand an Environmental Assessment for Sheep Creek Mine
The recent update on the Federal Fast Track Permitting Dashboard for Sheep Creek Mine has raised serious concerns. On July 13, 2026, the dashboard reported that the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the project was cancelled. Two Critical Dates: Sheep Creek Mine
The Bitterroot National Forest opens a 30-day public comment period on August 14. Please join the Community Meeting on Tuesday, August 18 to voice your opposition to this project. After a panel presentation highlighting deficiencies in the Exploration Proposal, you can submit your public comment.
